CropWatch provides growers with local, real time, data driven information.

It offers a centralised hub to pull together a number of monitoring activities including:

• Aphid monitoring & trapping​
• Spore trapping ​
• Insects – Silver Y & Beet Moth ​
• Cercospora Warnings ​
• Crop Observations ​
• Weather Data​

CropWatch also allows testing of new technologies, tools and services and provides the opportunity to gain new insights into the growing area.

For 2026 there will be 20 CropWatch monitoring sites across the beet growing area. The results and findings from these sites will assist growers to monitor local conditions, pest risks and disease forecasts and help plan crop husbandry through out the season.
