Beet Moth
Beet Moth Monitoring
BBRO's network of smart moth traps is now in operation and records numbers of moths.
The MothWatch map displays the total numbers of moths caught during a week at each of our pheromone traps. Simply choose the week you wish to see from the dropdown-menu in the top right.
We expect to see signs of damage from the larvae of beet moth between 2 and 4 weeks after each migration. Thoroughly inspect your crops for signs of damage and be prepared to treat where necessary.
Note: Sites where a trap is not functioning correctly are coloured grey.
